Very Quiet, Great for shy dogs, Workhorse, 3/20/2011

Hi, I bought this dryer 5 years ago and leaned on it for heavy use. It is so quiet compared to any other dryer on the market and it is a workhorse! My two mini poodles tolerate this dryer very well and are very intolerant of louder dryers. The stand adds an extra component of convenience. Even though I groom my own dogs and now own an Edemco stand dryer, I still rely on my Andis for any number of tasks and I would not trade for anything. It is the quietest dryer on the market. Great price point as well!

Waste of money, very cheap. The gear for the 2 or 3 positions on the stand was stripped on mine after about 10 uses & I only groom 3 small dogs every 8 weeks retired. Because of the location of the onoff switch, whenever you put the dryer into the stand, it turns off & you can‘t move the switch when the dryer is in the stand. The stand only has about 3 drying positions to choose from, too high, too low, & this will have to do!. Do not recommend, give me a good old dbl duck anyday, wish I could find one, anybody know where??
