From Bio-Groom®, this residual spray has a fresh, herbal scent and the water-based formula contains natural Pyrethrins with extra-strength to rapidly kill fleas, ticks and lice on dogs and in their sleeping quarters. It is fortified with Lanolin conditioners so it is safe for puppies and kittens four weeks and older. May be used with Proban®.

Ticks love it!, 11/5/2006

I bought this a few weeks ago because i was a good price and sounded good (14 day residual.) The first time I used it, I was delighted by the pleasant scent. Unfortunately, it just doesn't kill ticks unless you soak them in it for a few minutes. The next day after treatment, both of my dogs had NEW ticks on them and their bedding. This has continued after daily spraying (as directed) for 2 weeks and they are still covered. I am convinced that ticks love this stuff and are attracted to its pleasant aroma. Go with "Adams" brand.. while a strong odor, that one actually works.
