I just got this brush today and it pulled out more loose hair on my German Shepherd Dog than I knew he had! The bristles are hard plastic, so I think people should be careful how much pressure they apply to the brush. It also doesn't collect the loose hair like a traditional slicker and maybe the handle could be designed to fit in your hand better. Overall, I would definitely recommend it though. Extremely pleased with it's hair removal, which is most important and it's price!
