There is nothing good about this muzzle! It looks nice, but that's about it. It does not fit my small dog right. The sizing guide is way off. My dog got this muzzle off even when it was on the tightest setting.

My 30lb basenji broke this product the day I finally received it in the mail (took 3 weeks instead of 10 days). I give my dog credit for being clever, but the muzzle itself was over priced and cheaply made. The product says that the leather straps will help "prevent loss". But the leather is so thin that my dog was able to pull the mask with his front paws forcing the rivets to break. I watched him do it... And because the muzzle was now broken, showing signs of use, I wasn't able to ship the piece of junk back to get a return. If you want to waste twenty dollars, buy this item.

Wire Dog Muzzle

I have got a Shepherd/ Catahoula mix who tends to be hard to fit for everything because he is such an awkward looking dog.
I looked at multiple websites to fit him and decided on an 8.
The product arrived quickly.
The actual wire part is very sturdy, the straps are average, but they get the job done.
The nose strap doesn't really protect the dog as well as I would have liked it to, but I got what I payed for.
The muzzle is actually too narrow at the spot where the strap connects, and it throws the fit off. The 2 metal squares hit some of the bones on his face and it isn't comfortable for him. The base of his muzzle doesn't work in this particular muzzle, due to his mix.
In general I would recommend this muzzle if it fits right. The muzzle is great for the price.
