I felt it pulls the hair. And you still have to dispose of the hair when through. You need a brush that will alleviate having to remove the dog hair after brushing price way too high

My husky puppy is blowing her coat for the first time. No other brush did the trick, but now I don't know what I'd do without my furminator!

Bought this for my Golden Retriever but decided to use it on my horse this spring to shed him out. It worked Great! He seemed to enjoy it too.

I've been curious about this, but the price kept me away. When I read the reviews, and noticed it was on sale, I got it. I used it right out of the box on my Lab X Shepherd, and was thrilled with how well it got all that hair out of him. He enjoyed too! I then used it on my Irish Wolfhound mix (has a smooth coat) and it worked great on him too. They were pushing each other out of the way to try to get brushed! You must be careful not to use too much pressure, though, as it says in the instructions. I had been using the slicker brush before, but not any more!

I'm so glad I invested in this wonderful tool! I have a dalmatian that leaves black and white hair ALL over my house and car. He enjoys rolling around on the carpet and often goes around the house shaking and I cringe when I see all the hair flying off of him. I used to brush him regularly, but it did little good. I bought this at a local pet supply store when they promised I could bring it back if I wasn't satisfied. However, after using it, I will never let this thing go! Even on my short haired dog, it removed a TON of excess hair. With regular use, you will see less hair around your house and your dog's coat will improve. My dog enjoys getting brushed with this as well, so it must be gentle on them. The blades are not sharp to the touch either, but however it works, it does a great job!
