I bought this item and had done my homework first. I measured the table and needed a clamp that opened to 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" so with this item claiming it it would work for 2" then it should work. The widest the dial grip clamp opens to is 1 1/8" and no way of making it larger so falls short for me getting to use it. Don't waist your money as there is the cost of the item and the cost of shipping which was expensive for me. Sad as I was looking forward to the items. It is good quality if you can use a clamp of a smaller size.
