The HydroSurge Bath 5.1..The Overall Best System y, 11/26/2010

I loved the HydroSurge Bath Pro 5.1, In all my 29 years of grooming the old ways took so long. I went to grooming school to upgrade my skills in the profession. I was in love with this system and It worked great, the animals came clean and the products were the best I had ever used...I recomend this to all animal groomers, this system is the overall best. I never had any problems changing the bottles at school.

Not bad, but room to improve, 9/8/2010

I agree w/another review that says the concentration of shampoo to water is not good enough. I use the hydrosurge every day and it works fine as long as you keep it clean, flush the system, and clean the dog twice. They do clog rather easily though. The little plastic piece where the hose is that goes into the faucet needs reinforced too. They break easily.

OVERRATED, 11/7/2008

The grooming salon i work for installed these in all their bathing stations several months ago. They have been pretty much a disappointment. The maximum product concentrations are completely inadequate for more than slightly dirty dogs or for those with heavy or dense coats, or for conditioning treatments. I usually end up wetting the dog with the hydrosurge, and applying shampoo by hand. It does not reduce the need for hand scrubbing if you actually expect the dog to be thoroughly clean. Additionally, attaching the bottle to the device can be a real pain- the screw on cap wont connect if you dont have the straw down deep inside of the mouth of the jug, and that is a tight fit.
